This is a great entry! You captured Kaley extremely well. She has features of both Will and Matt, specifically in her face, which makes me wonder if you looked at screencaps as a reference - if you did there's nothing wrong with that. If anything that's fantastic and helped so, so much. I also love the colors, Kaley's content expression, and the fact that she's cuddling a teddy bear. Very nice touch! Also, is that Will's hoodie that she's wearing? That's my guess, and it made me smile so widely!

You're welcome! Wow! Your brain is pretty damn awesome and impressive! (I would've needed screencaps. XP) I was trying to think about what specific feature of Matt's your version of Kaley has, and after some serious pondering it came to me! She has his smile. That small, calm smile. Yay, I was right! () She is wearing Will's hoodie! I noticed that you made it look baggy with the rolled up sleeves. I noticed the large hood, too. That was a job well done and it's truly adorable! I love the idea of fictional children wearing their parent's sweaters/hoodies. It's very sweet.

I'm probably so fond of it because although I was never close with my dad I raided his closet and "stole" (he didn't mind that I wanted them and let me keep them) all of his Michigan University and Michigan Wolverines sweaters from his college years when I was thirteen. I still have them and wear them with my pajamas in the late fall and winter when it gets cold. Even though I can't get what I want from him - a functional relationship - it's nice to know that I still have some part of him with me. And he is a nice man. But I could never look at him as my father. Just a very distant friend.

Anyhow, sob story aside, that probably bled into my fanfiction and short stories. Not to mention it's incredibly comforting and comfortable for a child to wear an article of clothing that belongs to their parents. I'm sure it's the case with most kids, not just me.
